Batesville, Arkansas is the cutest little town in northern Arkansas. If you've never visited this town, put it on your bucket list, especially around Christmas time, you can thank me later ;) We've lived here for almost ten years and have never felt so at home. Everyone you meet is kind and hospitable, welcoming and warm. Downtown Main Street is one of my favorite places here. It's been undergoing a revitalization for the last several years, and it's been exciting to watch.. There are so many cute shops and new eateries, including a food truck lot, that are bringing Main Street back to life. Huge events such as trick or treat on Main, Batesville Area Arts Council Artoberfest, holiday parades, Farmer's Markets, Yoga in the Park, (and a ton of other fun events) bring thousands downtown to enjoy it.
So when Michayla and Jacob wanted their engagement session downtown on Main Street, I was totally on board! There are so many beautiful places and I just loved that they wanted engagement photos at the same location their wedding will be taking place next spring!! It was hot and muggy, in true Arkansas fashion, but y'all didn't seem to notice. You both were amazing and stunning as always! I am so incredibly happy for you guys!! I can't wait until your wedding day and I loved getting to spend this time with you.
