You've planned a newborn session in my studio...now what?! A little prep goes a long way when it comes to newborn photography! These first few days with your little one are so special, and I want to make sure your photoshoot is as smooth and stress-free as possible. Here are my top tips to help you prepare:
- Choose Simple, Soft Clothing: For both you and baby, opt for soft, neutral colors. This keeps the focus on your baby’s sweet little details and creates timeless photos. Even better: choose items from my Studio Wardrobe to eliminate the stress of shopping.
- Feed Beforehand: Try to feed your baby right before the session. A well-fed baby is more likely to fall into a peaceful sleep, making it easier to capture those adorable, snuggled-up poses.
- Bring Extra Essentials: Pack a bag with extra diapers, wipes, and any comfort items your baby may need during the shoot. It’s always good to have backups on hand!
- Stay Relaxed and Enjoy the Moment: Trust me to guide you through the session. We’ll go at your baby’s pace and take plenty of breaks.
- Let Your Baby’s Personality Shine: Each baby is unique—some love to be wrapped up tightly, others prefer to be more free. I’ll work with your baby’s natural temperament to capture their true personality.
I can’t wait to capture these precious first moments! Expecting soon? Fill out the contact form and we'll get you on the books!
